One Down, One Up (2003)

In 2003, we released One Down, One Up, a double album that delves into the diverse facets of our musical expression.

The first disc presents us in an unplugged setting, capturing the intimate essence of our acoustic performances. Tracks like Jussara and Humana highlight Lilian's soulful vocals, while the acousticl pieces Mo and Eu Nasci No Brasil offer a glimpse into our jazz influences. The disc concludes with the lively Voltando (Cocktail Party Mix), infusing a touch of funk into the acoustic ambiance.

The second disc shifts to a live performance, capturing the energy and spontaneity of our shows. Live renditions of Brazil 2000 and Brief Passions showcase our dynamic stage presence, while Peregrino and To Life explore extended improvisations. The disc also features remixes, including Gerd's spacey take on Treasure and David Walters' dub-infused version of Peregrino.

Released under the Ziriguiboom label, One Down, One Up received critical acclaim for its inventive soundscapes and seamless integration of diverse musical styles.
